what in the world???

tonight we were heading to my daughter's gymnastic class. there is an indoor playarea available. in order to play, you have to wear socks. since it's summer, my kids often wear flip-flops and take their socks. tonight my son decided to combine the two. here's what he came up with:

yep, those are his orange flip-flops (which was a crazy enough story by itself: flip flop palooza) and his star wars chewbacca socks. i can already see it now. when he's 30 that's how he'll mow his lawn.

me: "son - is that what you are wearing? are you ready to go?"
son: "yep!"

he wore it proudly.
