mmmm.... cheese rolls

tonight i made cheese rolls. it's my sister's recipe. i think she may have gotten it from my grandmother. they are so yummy. you can make them as an appetizer but we just ate them for dinner!

don't they look yummy?

cheese rolls

24 hard rolls
1 block of mild mexican velveeta cheese
4 packages of buddig ham (you can use any ham, but buggig brand is nice and thin)
1 small can of chopped olives (use only as much as you like)
green onions (we used about 4 green onions)
ketchup

**tip** freeze the velveeta cheese before you grate it. it makes it easier (colder, but easier) to grate. it doesn't get all mushy.

grate the velveeta cheese.
slice the ham into thin strips.
chop up the green onions

mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. use as much of the ham, onions, & olives as you would like. use the ketchup to help bind it all together. i think i ended up using about 4 tablespoons. set aside.

cut a hole in the top of the hard rolls and hollow out the middles of the rolls. be sure to not make holes. you want a little of the roll left inside.

fill the rolls with the cheese mixture.

cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. take off aluminum foil and bake another 5 minutes.

Enjoy!
