we spent thanksgiving with the officer's family. the officer's sister and her family were in town. the officer's other sister lives in germany. we headed to the officer's parent's house on wednesday night.
the plan was for me to stay wednesday night and leave thursday afternoon to go to my mom's for bfs planning. my sister-in-law, c was going with me. the officer and the kids stayed from wednesday to friday.
the kids were busy all day. they played in papa's barn that was full of hay.
they rode bicycles, in wagons and on dirtbikes.

they shot bb guns. of course my son was the only one with a gun when we arrived, but the soon the officer and his brother-in-law purchased one too. they set up a great target site.
of course we had delicious food and it was fun to be able to visit with all the family. i really enjoy thanksgiving. everything about it!
