i received this lovely lady lovely blog award from my friend, shirley. thanks shirley! i honestly didn't think i would ever receive a "lovely lady" award for anything. :) i am supposed to write about 5 other lovely ladies with lovely blogs. so here goes.
first of all, i will tag shirley even though she has already done this. shirley is one of those genuinely sweet people. they don't ever say anything mean or judgemental about people. you can tell they have a servant's heart. we met last year when we started our homeschool group at the same time. i knew right off that i liked her, but sometimes the "sweet" people can find me - ummm..... hmmmmm.... not as "sweet" as themselves. i find that i do surround myself with these people because it's something i need to work on. they remind me through their words and actions, never through their judgements and criticisms, to be kind in my thoughts, actions and words. i have enjoyed getting to know her over the past year. i look forward to getting to know her more and more also. oh wait something else - she shares my passion for sonic's happy hour vanilla coke. that in and of itself would have won her a spot in this post. :)
my next lovely lady is k. i love any time i get to spend with her. we have a lot in common. she strives to raise her kids in the Lord and teach them all of His ways. i love hearing how she does this. it gives me a ton of great ideas. i admire how she stands on her believes and values and does not waiver. she doesn't blog a lot, but when she does there's always something to learn. we need to have another panera outing!
the third lovely lady is julie, my cousin. julie is a lot like me also. we have a lot of the same little ticks. julie has a hilarious blog. she write things i only think. she's very honest and shares her life she has with husband and four kids. it's a very honest look at a mother with all the struggles and blessing that come with that. she's married to my cousin and came into our family not know what to expect. however, she fits right in - as crazy as everyone else is. :) love ya!
my fourth lovely lady is mrs. cindy. i don't know mrs. cindy very well. we went to college together. she has one son and is expecting another child very soon. i read her blog and am always encouraged by her. she has a son who God blessed them with and she takes special care of him! she is also very crafty. she makes these amazing cards and scrapbook pages - stuff i only wish i had the imagination for. i saw her at the star wars concert. she looked so cute! she doesn't blog that often and i am sure once she has a baby she will have even less time, but i wanted to let her know that this someone always looks forward to when she posts. :)
last lovely lady is mrs. troop. i read her blog whenever she posts, and she is able to post a lot despite a pretty busy life with 8 children. we used to attend the same church. she is very down to earth and loves God. she often posts a thankful thursday post. always reminds me to be mindful of what God is given me instead of what i think I need. she brings it all back to God. i appreciate that.
okay i have to talk about this last lady also. she doesn't have the typical blog most do. she makes cookies. if you've been on this blog much, you've probably seen me mention her before. mrs. courtney and her fabulous cookies. she makes the best sugar cookies for all occasions. i have to throw advertising her way any way i can because she's the best. not only does she make fabulous cookies, she's also one of those genuinely sweet people too have a great talent. go to her blog site and order some cookies or just take a look at all the great cookies she has made.
there they are. if you want to copy and paste this award onto your blog and write about 5 lovely ladies with lovely blogs that you know, go right ahead.

Congratulations!
Awww... Thank you so much for all of your sweet words. They mean so much to me.
Yes, the vanilla coke bond... I CANNOT believe that I forgot to mention that in my post about you. :)
Glad your home, I missed you Friday. (Not that the officer wasn't perfectly nice, because he was. He was helpful, too.) haha!
That is super sweet of you. Thanks for your sweet words.
I would NEVER consider myself a "Lovely Lady", (I like you have been working on trying to be more, well, uh, ladylike?) a "Pretty Cool Chick" or "Scatterbrained Mom," maybe...
Thanks so much for the props on my blog! I'm so glad to have you in my life and family. Love you Treasure!
