Hello blog friends. It's been a crazy on the island this week. Last Sunday was Easter. We spent the day at my mom's house. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a lot of fun hunting Easter eggs with their cousins. Of course it had to be inside because all Oklahomans had been praying for rain and God answered that prayer on Easter. We had a ton of rain and it was a blessing.
We do have a little bit of bad news for the officer though. About a week and a half ago he was doing his motorcross riding and he crashed. He went over his handlebars, well most of his body went over the handlebars. His thumb stayed behind the handlebar and he tore a muscle in his right hand. His gun hand. He saw a doctor this past Thursday who confirmed the muscle by his thumb had torn. The officer is going to see a hand specialist on Monday to see whether he needs surgery (praying for "no" on that) or if he needs to be in a cast or splint for four to six weeks. Let's pray for no surgery and maybe just a week in a splint! :)
My daughter had her last soccer game on Saturday. She has really, really enjoyed soccer. She didn't score this time, but they did win their game. I think she just loved running around. Grandma K & Papa Bill came to her last game. Thanks to all the family that come out to see her play this season. She loved having you on the sidelines cheering for her.
See what I mean by things in the way:
She got distracted by one of her bows becoming untied until a sweet teacher tied it back.
She had a blast but when I asked her what her favorite part was she said, "When they dropped the balloons on us at the end."
I didn't get any video of her at the gymnastic recital because my mom was doing video. I take a video of her doing a walkover at the house.
I've actually managed to get school done all this past week even though the officer has been home. For some reason, when he is home with us it's hard to stay on our schedule. Pray that over the next four to six weeks if the officer is home with us, we will find a great schedule that will work for us and that school will not fall behind. :)

Great walkover!! Loved catching up and seeing all of the pictures!
Praying for a "no" on the surgery... sounds like it was painful. Ouch! If the officer does get to stay home, just enjoy it! You will always have time for school. :)
