Today has been as busy day. I left the house this morning with the kids to run a couple of errands. We needed to go by two banks, the post office, Old Navy, and Barnes & Noble. Old Navy was having a sale on their tank dresses for little girls for only $7. I had a coupon to stack with that so my daughter got three dresses for under $6 each for this summer. I used my Barnes & Noble Groupon today too.
After Barnes & Noble, we came home to get ready for my son's tae kwon do. This past week I was given the "written" portion of his black belt test. I spent 3 hours on the computer looking up the information so I could teach it to my son and didn't even get half way done with the test. However, I can tell you that "An Young Ha Ship Ni Ka" means "How are you?" and "Kam Sa Ham Ni Da" means "Thank You!" I will continue to try to find the information and then we will learn it as a part of school until his black belt test occurs.
When tae kwon do was over, we headed home to eat lunch and get ready for my daughter's soccer game. She was very excited about the game and that Grandma and Papa with the sunglasses were coming. My sister, M, and all her kids came too. I have to say all the girls + one boy were pretty cute in their uniforms. One of the mother's (that would not be me because i'm not that crafty) made soccer bows for all the girls. The game was started with a lineup and a coin flip.
This ref was so sweet to all the kids.
It was a hard fought game. My daughter did score a goal, but... it was for the other team. She did look like she didn't quite know what to do out there. It's three on three soccer and the coaches are actually out on the field. After each play, they are telling them where to stand and what to do. It definitely wore her out. It was a lot of fun just watching her play. She said, "I fell down a couple of times mom, but I hopped right back up as fast as I could."
Here's her team. They are called the Sharks. Seriously, how cute are they? I could eat them all up!
The game ended in a tie - 6 to 6. Everyone enjoyed watching and cheering for them. I have to thank Coach because he is super patient with the kids. He's always encouraging and does a great job with them. So we are in full swing of the spring soccer season. I'm sure you'll be seeing more pictures. :) Can't help it.
