we watched my niece, a, cheer last night. it was our first time to get to see her. she doesn't live in the city, but was in the metro for an away game. we were so excited to see her cheer. she just started this past year.
not only is she cute as a pom-pom, but she is as sweet as they come. she never hesitates to give my daughter a "piggybank" ride or lightsaber fight with my son. she was excited when she saw us because she's like that. 
seriously, isn't she cute? i am not sure if i have the terminology correct, but she is a "flier". since she is small, like her mom (4 ft. 11 in., 92 lbs. soaking wet - i know makes me sick too), she is the one they throw around in the air.
