the simple woman's daybook

Would you like to linger on the simple things? Then join me and many others in taking a little look into the day plans and thoughts of those who are focusing on simplicity...beauty of the 'everyday moments.'

For Today - December 21

Outside my window... sunshiny and chilly!

I am thinking... i am happy we do not have a lot of activities to go to this week! :)

I am thankful for... my family - they are all healthy and doing well.

I am wearing... shorts and a long sleeve shirt

I am remembering... waiting until the last minute to put up our christmas tree last year.

I am going... get this house cleaned today if it kills me. :)

I am currently reading... my new $5/one year magazine subscriptions i got in the mail!

I am hoping...to have time with the officer again!

On my mind... my friend, j, from texas.

From the learning rooms... more learning letter sounds for the daughter. she's picking it up faster than my son did at her age.

Noticing that... you never know what could happen and there's little you can do about it. so settle in and enjoy what God has planned for you. jeremiah 29:11

Pondering these words... do you need all this stuff?

From the kitchen... possibly something to do with chicken, any ideas?

Around the house... the kid's closets have been gone through - now to do mine. however, it's full of christmas presents so maybe i need to wait another week on that one. okay you talked me into it.

One of my favorite things... panera bread's french onion soup. i'm craving it.

From my picture journal...

my kids last year when they got their robes for christmas

check out the simple woman's blog if you would like to read more day posts and find out how to participate in this activity!!
