blue belt/red stripe test

my son tested for his next level in tae kwon do on saturday. he tested in the morning and i could not be there because i was picking up korean food for my daughter's birthday party. the officer was there and he took a few pictures.

my son was testing for his red stripe on his blue belt. he has two more levels before he reaches black belt. he is still really enjoying it. it's been a while since he last tested. i believe his last test was in july.

i am not even sure of all the things he has to know when he tests, but he knows them. here's a few pictures of his test.

one of the requirements for testing is breaking a board. it took my son many attempts to break his second board, but he didn't quit. he kept on trying and finally broke the board. here's the video.
