Whatever...

She wouldn't say this, but one of my daughter's favorite words is "Whatever!"

Not in the sarcastic, roll the eyes kind of "Whatever!"

Not in the loud, obnoxious kind "WHATEVER!"

I have kept a list of my daughter's running vocabulary on this blog. I haven't kept up with it as much as I wish I would have.

Often times during the day, you can hear/see my daughter trying to figure out a particular word.

She will say, "It's horrible, It's horribibble, It's HORRIBIBBLE!" , "whatever."

She knows she has the word wrong, but she can't think of the correct word, so she just smiles and says "Whatever."

I love it. She's not bothered by the fact that she can't think of the word. She just says, "Whatever." Honestly, I haven't corrected a lot of mistakes because one day her vocabulary will be correct, but not this day. This day I will treasure all the "boranges, polka docks, froggies, scarfs, clockulators, encycle, and crack backers I can get.
