Insomnia

It's been a while since my daughter has watched a "scary movie". Apparently tonight was one of those nights. We watched Disney's The Great Mouse Detective. There are couple of scenes where things jump out at you.

After the movie, my daughter went bed with no problems. She went right to sleep. However, at 8:30 p.m., she came into my bedroom and said she couldn't sleep. I told her to go back to her bed for 10 minutes and try to go back to sleep. She did, but she came back into our room 10 minutes later.

She laid down in my bed and said, "Mommy, it was just the first part, the middle part, and the last part that scared me."

Poor girl.
