can you help a girl out?

i'm in the kitchen doing the dishes.

my daughter comes in to the kitchen.

"mommy, don't you think it's nice to help people?"

"yes, i do. it's very nice to help people out!"

my daughter then says, "then how come you don't help me out when i ask you to help me clean my room?"

didn't even see that coming and walked right into it.
