Who lives there?

Tonight as I was driving my daughter to gymnastics, we passed by an independent living place.

My daughter asked, "What is that place?"

I replied, "They are apartments for older people that do not have kids that lived with them."

I added, "The people were probably older than your Grandmas and Papas, since they are only in their 50s."

She said, "Oh."

She added, "You mean old people like Abraham Lincoln?"

No honey, not dead people like Abraham Lincoln. Don't worry I didn't say that to her. I just smiled and said, "I love you!!!"
