New kicks

This post is for those of you who know me well. You know that I don't like anything too girly, too shiny, too ruffle-y, bedazzeled , too flowery, with hearts, or anything along those lines. I can appreciate those things. However, it's just not my personal preference or style.

I received a $10 off any $10 purchase coupon from Kohls thanks to my sweet sister, Mrs. M. My daughter has been asking for a certain pair of shoes for a while. Today was her lucky day. Mommy had a coupon and the shoes were on sale.

Jumping bean shoes from Kohls with a shimmery black background with shiny flowers accents. On the toe, you can see it is... bedazzeled. That's not the best part about them though....

They light up when she walks.

My daughter also asked me if she could have my little Pottery Barn clock I have in my bathroom. It sits on a little stand. She asked if she could have it to wear as a necklace. She marches to the beat of her own drum.

And I wouldn't have it any other way. LOVE HER!
