she's a new, new girl

i told you about my daughter's loose tooth here. her brother had a plan to use a small hammer and wrench to get the tooth out. my daughter didn't think that was a great plan - neither did mommy!

today she said, "i think i'm going to try to pull my tooth out."

brother said, "give it a mighty tug and twist it!"
she did and out it popped!

she said, "now when i go to church i'll be a new girl, since my tooth is gone!"

she wanted to pull out her other tooth right beside it, but she said it hurt to twist it.

about an hour later she's in her room, and she comes running out yelling, "I DID IT!"

yep, she had pulled her other tooth out.

then she said, "now i'm a NEW, NEW girl!"


her face looks slightly discolored because she colored a "mask" on herself with washable markers.
