just a typical monday

it's just a typical monday on the island. i finally took the time to take a picture. the kids are cleaning their room. i am picking up the house before we start school.

oh by the way here's a picture of my daughter. this would be her third change of clothes so far and it's 9:40 a.m.!

she is sporting a nice red velvet dress, with pink and red striped hello kitty socks and her pink barbie skates. she was very proud she picked socks that matched both her red dress and pink skates. fashionista in the making for sure!

i do have to comment about these pink barbie skates. her aunt m gave them to her. my daughter wears a size 11 shoes, but these are a size one. two sizes too big, but it doesn't matter to my daughter. she ties them up tight and skates everywhere in them. this is not an exaggeration. she got them a week and a half ago and with the exception of when we are not home, they are on her feet. she's getting pretty good at it! thank aunt m!
