I am biting the bullet. In my last post I had written about wanting to run a 5k; however, the one I had originally chosen did not work out. So I have found another 5k to run - this Saturday.

I have worked up to four miles a day this past week, but that's only been on my nice, flat neighborhood sidewalks. The officer is going to run this one with me. My kids are going to participate in the one mile fun run/walk along with my sister and her kids.
I won't be running for time. I'll just be looking for finish it without injuring myself or others. I'm excited and looking forward to it.
